Red Wolves land LB commit
Memphis (Whitehaven) two-star linebacker Javante Mackey became the fourth Class of 2022 prospect from Tennessee to commit to Butch Jones and the Red Wolf coaching staff when he gave his verbal pledge Sunday evening.
In addition to his offer from the Red Wolves, Mackey holds offers from Austin Peay, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Georgia Tech, Morgan State, Tennessee-Martin, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech, and Western Kentucky.
Mackey joins OL Saidou Ba, OL Aleric Watson, and DB James Reed as a commit from the State of Tennessee.
The Red Wolves now have 16 commits for the Class of 2022.
