Terrance Ford Jr. has announced he has entered the transfer portal following the departure of Mike Balado as head basketball coach at Arkansas State.
Ford Jr. made the announcement on Twitter on Thursday saying “A-State, it’s been an amazing freshman year. I’ve built bonds and relationships that’ll last a life. I’ll like to thank my teammates for welcoming me in with open arms which helped create a brotherhood that’s deeper than I’ve ever imagined!
I’ll like to thank Coach Balado for everything he’s done for me & taking a chance on me when nobody else did! To the entire coaching staff, I appreciate every second we spend together.
After talks with my family, I’ve decided that it’s best for me to enter the transfer portal…”
Ford played in 32 games during his freshman season for the Red Wolves where he averaged 10.8 points per game, 2.8 assists per game, and had 41 steals on the season.
