Arkansas State men's basketball team faced a challenging game against Hofstra at the Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship, ultimately losing 68-66 due to a last-second layup by Michael Graham.

Despite trailing by 14 points in the second half, the Red Wolves managed to tie the game at 66 with just 21 seconds left, thanks to a combination of three-point shots and free throws.

Derrian Ford led Arkansas State with 17 points, including nine from beyond the arc, while Kobe Julien contributed 16 points, most of which came in the latter half of the game. Joseph Pinion added 12 points off the bench, all in the second half.

Arkansas State shot 43.8 percent from the field and 81.8 percent from the free-throw line. Hofstra, on the other hand, shot 48.1 percent from the field, with Cruz Davis leading all scorers with 24 points. Graham recorded a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds, contributing to Hofstra's rebounding advantage of 32-29.

The game saw multiple lead changes, with Arkansas State holding an early lead before Hofstra went on several scoring runs.In the final minutes, Arkansas State mounted a comeback, narrowing the gap with a combination of three-pointers and free throws.

The game was tied after a series of free throws and a crucial layup by Julien, but Hofstra ultimately secured the win with Graham's decisive layup in the closing seconds.
