There is a new era for Arkansas State baseball with the hiring Mike Silva as head baseball coach and Red Wolf baseball fans have started showing excitement about the hire. As with any new hire there are things that must be addressed by the new coaching staff if there is to be success within the program.

Silva is getting off to a good start with the contractual details stating that facility upgrades are coming, and let’s be honest, those upgrades have been needed for many years. While facility upgrades are a much needed thing, there are some other things that need to be addressed, also.
