Arkansas State baseball head coach Mike Silva announced the additions of Cole Huebner, Ckyler Tengler, Myles Mayse, and Ryan Ursery to the 2026 roster on Thursday.
Ursery, a left-handed pitcher, joins the Red Wolves after posting a 3.89 ERA and an 11-4 record during lone season at South Arkansas College. The White Hall, Arkansas, native led all NJCAA Division II pitchers with 18 starts (19 appearances) in 2024 and ranked 14th with 83.1 innings thrown.Ursery helped lead the Stars to their second consecutive region title and an appearance in the NJCAA Division II World Series.
Ranked as the second-highest catcher in Virginia and 56th nationally according to Perfect Game, Myles Mayse signed with A-State out of PDG Academy. The Fredericksburg, Virginia, native hit .338 with 12 doubles and two home runs in Perfect Game events, and was an Area Code Baseball participant with the MLB Breakthrough Series during the summer of 2024.
Ckyler Tengler finished with a 5-0 record and two saves over 35.1 innings pitched for ASU-Mountain Home last season. The right-handed pitcher from Searcy, Arkansas, made 15 appearances for the TrailBlazers, finishing with a 4.58 ERA and 50 strikeouts.ASU-Mountain Home ended the 2024 campaign at 30-17, making an appearance in the NJCAA Region 2 Tournament First Round.
Cole Huebner hails from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, where he was a PBR Best of the West selection at Strathcona High School. In his lone season at Indian Hills Community College, the right-handed pitcher posted a 5-2 record and ranked second on the team with 52 strikeouts over 42.1 innings pitched.
Huebner was named ICCAC D1 Baseball Pitcher of the Week twice and earned NJCAA National Pitcher of the Week honors following a 10-strikeout performance over five scoreless innings.
