The Arkansas State Athletics Department announced Tuesday the kickoff times, along with multiple game themes, for its six regular-season home football contests scheduled for the 2024 season.

The Red Wolves are slated to play their season and home opener Aug. 31 against Central Arkansas, which will be followed a week later by another outing at Centennial Bank Stadium on Sept. 7 versus Tulsa. A-State’s remaining home schedule includes two Sun Belt Conference games in October and two more in November.

While game times are still subject to change based on television selections, Arkansas State’s four combined home contests in August, September and October are currently set to kickoff at 6:00 p.m. In addition to Central Arkansas and Tulsa, the Red Wolves will host South Alabama on Oct. 5 and Troy on Oct. 26. A-State’s two November games versus ULM (Nov. 23) and Old Dominion (Nov. 30) are scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m.

Arkansas State will announce its entire lineup of game themes, promotions and giveaways at a later date, but the dates for its traditional Paint the Stadium Red, Band Day, Ag Day, Homecoming, Heroes Day, Fan Appreciation Day and Senior Day have been set.

Paint the Stadium Red, held in conjunction with the Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce’s annual Paint the Town Red Week, and Band Day will both be held as part of A-State’s Sept. 7 game versus Tulsa. The Sound of the Natural State will be joined by hundreds of high school band members from across the region for the game as well.

The Red Wolves will celebrate the important role agriculture plays in the lives of all Arkansans as part of its Ag Day on Oct. 5, when they will face South Alabama. As previously announced, A-State’s 2024 Homecoming game will be played Oct. 26 against Troy.

Closing out its regular season the following month with back-to-back home games, A-State will hold its Heroes Day as part of its match-up with ULM on Nov. 23. It’s Senior Day and Fan Appreciation Day festivities will take place the next Saturday, Nov. 30, when the Red Wolves host Old Dominion in their regular-season finale.
