When it comes to recruiting, one thing everyone looks at is how many stars a prospect has. At this time, Rivals.com shows that Arkansas State has offered 37 prospects. Of those 37 prospects, 24 of them have already been given a star rating by Rivals.com.

Of that group, there are five four-star players. Those players include Memphis, TN running back Mark Dodson Jr., Little Rock, AR tight end Hunter Henry, Tulsa, OK cornerback Stanvon Taylor, and Nashville, TN athletes Cornelius Elder and Jalen Ramsey.

There are also 19 three-star athletes on the list. Those players will be listed by position.

Arkansas State has already picked up their first commitment for the Class of 2013. Owesneboro, KT defensive tackle Logan Cart committed late last week. His highlight film has been sent in to Rivals.com for evaluation, and he should receive a star rating soon.

All in all, the majority of these offers were extended before any star ratings were issued. It certainly speaks well for the evaluation abilities of coach Gus Malzahn and his staff.
